£50m deal: Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez will join Manchester City

This summer, Alexis Sanchez is expected to leave Arsenal, as soon as the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates expire.

Chelsea was supposed to succeed in signing Sanchez soon, though Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester United, Bayern Munich as well as some Chinese clubs are interested too.

However, Cooperativa, Chilean outlet claim Alexis Sanchez is going to join Manchester City along with Pep Guardiola.

It has been recently reported that Manchester City are on the verge to shell out up to £50million to sign the 28-year-old player and they intend to increase his wages to almost £200,000 a week.

In 2011, Guardiola signed Alexis Sanchez at Barcelona, although left for a sabbatical a year later. In 2014, the player joined Arsenal for £30m.

Alexis had suggested he was eager to stay in London when outlying his plans for the future recently.

The football player is happy to stay in London with a winning team, and hopes to finish his contract there.

Cooperativa stressed that Alexis Sanchez is going to play at the Etihad along with Claudio Bravo, his compatriot, and with the under-pressure goalkeeper heading nowhere.
