Norwich City’s about to hire Michael O’Neill, Northern Ireland manager

The Northern Ireland manager, Michael O’Neill is actually fighting for the Norwich City hot vacancy.

Uwe Rosler, Fleetwood Town manager is supposed to be the number one candidate to rule Carrow Road already this summer, though O’Neill turns to be a nominee too along with David Wagner, Huddersfield Town chief.

Norwich’s newly appointed director of football, Stuart Webber appears to be a faithful admirer of O’Neill. Yes, he has been pleasantly astonished by what the manager achieved in this field. Stuart appreciated what he did with Northern Ireland, guided by him to the final 16 of the previous summer’s European Championship finals.

Currently, Northern Ireland are occupying the second position in their World Cup qualifying group behind Germany. The guys seem to have good chances to conquer a play-off spot in their bid to overleap Russia.

It’s clear that O’Neill wouldn’t be affordable enough if Norwich decided to offer him the position.
