Neil Taylor, Wales defender has been banned for two plays for the tackle causing a double leg break to Seamus Coleman, Republic of Ireland captain.
In the 69th-minute of the World Cup draw between Wales and the Republic Neil Taylor was sent off. Therefore, he was bound to serve one-match automatic suspension.
However, FIFA’s disciplinary committee has stepped up Taylor’s sanction to two plays. Obviously, it means that the Aston Villa full-back will definitely miss Wales’ next two World Cup qualifiers versus Austria and Serbia.
Neil Taylor, part of the Wales side, reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016 the previous summer, will be deprived of the trip to Serbia on June 11 as well as the home play versus Austria on September 2.
