Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos is granted Clasico red card

Gerard Pique states that Sergio Ramos actually deserved being sent off because in Sunday’s Clasico Barcelona defeated Real Madrid. Facing an investigation – that’s what Robert Fernandez, Barcelona sporting director called for Ramos. It’s required for the way Ramos reacted to his red card on 77 minute.

Referee Alejandro Jose Hernandez decided to have Ramos for lunging in two-footed by the halfway line on Lionel Messi, match-winner.

Instead of going quietly, Sergio left the Santiago Bernabeu applauding, pitch gesturing and also directing comments at somebody.

Pique added it seems to him that Ramos’ complaints after the red card were addressed to him, though he didn’t hear what was told.

He told that he didn’t hear Ramos, but definitely saw he was pointing at me. Perhaps, Ramos was actively referring to the red card.

As for Ramos, when talking to reporters in the mixed zone, the player told that he didn’t regret what had occurred and stressed that he was assured that a yellow card should have been the maximum punishment.
