Gary Cahill is angry after Chelsea’s Man Utd recent defeat, though expects instant response

Gary Cahill has just recognized that he’s angry at Chelsea’s dissatisfactory performance in recent defeat at Manchester United on Sunday. Nevertheless, he’s actually expecting an instant response.

At Old Trafford the Blues were defeated 2-0. Their former boss Jose Mourinho scored a moral victory because goals from Ander Herrera as well as Marcus Rashford brought Chelsea down.

The given defeat means that Antonio Conte’s side are currently four points clear of London counterparts Tottenham at the top of the Premier League. Just six games remain.

Chelsea are still the favorites to win the title, although a fifth loss of the campaign made England defender Cahill hope it was just a bad day at the office rather than the awful beginning of a tumble which could prove extremely costly.

In his opinion that’s a very disappointing experience. In the second half they tried to work hard, they did their best to push, but anyway they found themselves below the standards set by them.
