Muirfield gets to host senior open in 2007

LONDON - Muirfield has been selected to host the Senior British Open for the first time in 2007. Aberdeen Asset Management will sponsor the event, which is to be held from July 26-29 after the Carnoustie Open.

British Open returns to Turnberry after a gap of 15 years

Turnberry in Scotland has been chosen to host the 138th edition of British Open from July 16-19, 2009. This will be the fourth Open to be played in Ayrshire course in Turnberry since it was shortlisted as a venue.
