Liverpool star: It is a lot better today I think I will be alright for Sunday

Liverpool star Glen Johnson is confident he will be fit for Sunday’s crunch Premier League game against Manchester United, and the former Chelsea, West Ham and Portsmouth defender also suggested Fernando Torres will probably return to the starting line-up having missed the Sunderland and Lyon games. The England international was unsure if Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard would be fit for the game, following his injury sustained during last night’s Champions League game at Anfield. 


Johnson told skysports.com: “It is a lot better today, I think I will be alright for Sunday.”


“I think Nando might be alright for Sunday, but I am not too sure about Stevie
