Murray: Im ice cold

Tennis story by sport.co.uk, Tue, 30 Jun 2009 09:56:00 GMT

Andy Murray has warned Wimbledon opponent Stanislas Wawrinka: I'm staying ice cool this summer. This British number one takes on Wawrinka in the fourth round at SW19 as he continues his quest to reach the final of his home Grand Slam for the first time in his career.Murray has been in superb form over the past week, thrashing Robert Kendrick, Ernests Gulbis and Viktor Troicki on his way into the last 16.

And despite the climbing temperatures and the constant media hype, Murray says he is not feeling the pressure ahead of his clash with the Swiss ace.

Murray said: "I spend time with my team to get me ready for all the matches and I try to do the same routine for every match and don't, just because it's Wimbledon, try to do anything differently.

"It (pressure) hasn't troubled me last week. I'd be very surprised if it did this week.

"It's just about winning matches. I don't feel any different to how I did at this stage last year. You just try to win a match every couple of days and that's the goal."
