Jose Mourinho urges David de Gea to focus on Manchester United, while neglecting Real Madrid speculation

Jose Mourinho has already told David De Gea to stay away from thoughts regarding his future until the anticipated end of the football season, having warned the Manchester United goalkeeper that there might not be any excuses for being distracted amid revived buzz of interest from Real Madrid. Evidently, De Gea’s promising transfer to Real failed on transfer deadline day in 2015. Both prominent clubs blamed each other for that unpleasant episode, although the Spanish giants could get down to another move for the Spain number one this summer.

De Gea managed to sign a fresh four-year contract with Manchester United for the purpose of tying the player to the well-known club until June 2019. However, Mourinho is assured that the Spaniard’s focus has been impacted by sincere interest from Real. Mourinho has emphasized there’s no excuse for being awfully distracted with Manchester United, experiencing such a congested run-in.
