Rafael Benitez from Newcastle United is charged with misconduct as for referee comments

The Football Association has had Rafael Benítez charged right after he questioned the appointment of referee Andrew Madley before his team’s win over Preston North End, which secured subsequent promotion from the Championship.

Rafael told that he was shocked by the decision to enable the match official from Huddersfield to take charge of the bout, especially considering his home town club were stood below Newcastle in the table and they were still fighting them for an automatic promotion position.

Managers aren’t permitted to discuss any play before a bout occurs, though Rafael was involved into commenting on the appointment when Newcastle’s request for a change in referee was denied by the Football League.

The previous month Benitez told that he was greatly shocked by the situation. The players are used to trusting referees and they wouldn’t like to discuss them after plays.
