Matt Miazga considers Dutch Cup glory with Vitesse Arnhem to be an awesome experience

The United States international defender, Matt Miazga was greatly touched by winning the Dutch Cup with Vitesse Arnhem, which is the club’s first key trophy for their 125-year history.

This football season Matt Miazga has been impressed by Vitesse Arnhem. Having won a couple of MLS Supporters’ Shield awards with the New York Red Bulls, Miazga talked to reporters via email. They discussed his weekend’s success.

When asked about the experience during the bout and afterwards, Miazga answered that it was awesome. He felt the fantastic joy of winning the very first prize for the club. He generally enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere of the play and he’s so grateful to the fans.

By the way, there was also a worry that Miazga wouldn’t be able to perform because of a recent injury. However, Miazga states that at first he was quite anxious because of it, but treatment was successful and he gained confidence he would be of great service to his club.
