Manchester United demonstrates optimism in £40m hunt for Tottenham’s Eric Dier

The well-known football club Manchester United are quite optimistic in their ongoing pursuit of Tottenham’s player Eric Dier. At least, it’s stated by recent reports.

The Sunday Telegraph actually states that this summer Manchester United are on the verge of launching a £40 million offer for the England international football player, and they’re assured that they boast a real chance of landing their man.

According to some sources, Manchester United believe that their vigorous efforts to grasp Eric Dier would be given a powerful  boost if Tottenham were to become winners of the hunt for Burnley’s Michael Keane.

Mourinho also consider Dier to be the perfect successor for the defensive-midfield role. The given role will be vacant if Michael Carrick breaks up with Old Trafford.

Aside from that, the report also states that in January Manchester United were eager to sign Eric Dier.

Earlier, reports stressed that Mourinho was about to promise Dier a regular role in Manchester United’s midfield.
