2017 PFA awards unveiled

This year brought new stars and PFA awards will help to spot them: Harry Kane, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eden Hazard and many others.

N’Golo Kante as well as Eden Hazard’s efforts in Chelsea’s Premier League have been already recognized. These guys can count on a series of nominations for the men’s prestigious Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year reward.

Being shortlisted the previous year for his participation  in Leicester’s outstanding season, Kante has suddenly become the bookmakers’ favorite for the period 2016-17.

On April 23 winners are going to be announced at Grosvenor House, London.

Two years ago this award was picked up by Hazard, when under Jose Mourinho Chelsea managed to win the league at a canter.

Besides this, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku also glow on the six-man shortlist, as the PFA informed.

The number one scorer, Everton’s forward Lukaku boasted up to 23 goals, though he has to take on a number of other reputable nominees for the Golden Boot.
