West Ham’s star Michail Antonio is ruled out for season

Due to a recent injury, West Ham’s prominent player has been ruled out by his boss Slaven Bilic for a season.

During the previous week’s 1-0 home win over Swansea City, Michail Antonio suffered a hamstring injury.

He has been one of the club’s number one performers. Currently West Ham aren’t assured of dodging relegation.

However, whatever occurs, they’re bound to play without Antonio. Bilic informed that the player’s injury wasn’t minor. On the contrary, it’s serious enough to exclude him for the entire season. There’s no doubt it’s a powerful blow for West Ham, as Antonio turns to be one of the club’s best performers.

Captain Mark Noble starts a two-match ban, though Bilic didn’t doubt that such players as Sam Byram, Aaron Cresswell as well as Andy Carroll would be passed fit specially for the Black Cats clash. Bilic added that the team will make a vigorous effort just to get another win in a row, as every victory give them a powerful boost.
