The newly assigned performance director at British Cycling, Stephen Park told that in Hong Kong both he as well as his team had enjoyed a stunning week. He especially praised the GB staff.
Stephen Park told that he observed a group of skilled folks, absolutely committed to what they were doing. These guys were used to operating at extremely high level of professionalism. It seemed to Park that they were really willing to be held accountable for all their actions. They were extremely good at backing the riders literary at every step of the way. The GB staff was conscious everybody could have them thoroughly measured on their behavior and on their performances. In general, Stephen Park confessed they had delivered a top notch job.
By the way, he stressed that the fact that four of GB’s five medals were grasped exactly by females turned to be solid evidence that British Cycling had nothing to do with sexism.
